Best Destinations to visit in Naran Kaghan for Tourists

Naran A beautiful, lush green valley in Kaghan, with many natural destinations to visit for tourists. The elevation of valley is 2409 meters. It has a lot beautiful places to visit like lakes and lush green meadows. Now-a-days, it is hugely visited by the travelers from all around the country to see what it’s hiding in it. Saif ul Maluk Lake

For the lake, there is a well known story. The story described, at the lake, the Persian Prince fell in love with the Fairy Princess Shahzadi Badi ul Jamal. Due to this fairy tale, lake known as Saif ul Malook. The Fairy Tale had been written by Sufi poet Mian Mohammad Baksh and titled it Saif ul Malook. The lake is at an elevation of 3224 meters (10,577 ft) above sea level. It is one of the most visited lakes in Pakistan. It is about 9 km from Naran.

Babusar top

About 65 kilometer from naran, lies the mesmerizing Babusar Top. The last point of Valley. Babusar Top have an elevation of 4173 meters (13,691 ft) above sea level. Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is connected by this Babusar Pass. If someone is deciding to visit Naran i would highly recommend them to go to Babusar Top to gather some best moments of their life with the nature around.

Now if we talk about some of best meadows in Naran, Lalazar will surely be on the list. Lalazar lies at an altitude of 3200 meters (10,499 ft). It can only be reach by muddy jeep track starting from Battakundi. Battakundi is about 15 km from Naran. Lalazar is a plateau known for pine forest and beautiful wild flowers.

Dudipatsar lake

Known as the Queen of the Lakes, Dudipatsar or Dudipat lies in extreme north of Naran  in Lulusar-Dudipatsar National Park. It got an altitude of 3,800 metres (12,500 ft). The lake got the greenish blue hue color. Well Dudi means ‘White’, Pat means ‘mountains’ and Sar means ‘Lake’. The lake got this name because of snow covering mountains around.

Lulusar lake

The primary headwater to feed the river of Naran, Kunhar River, is Lulusar Lake. It is the largest lake in Region. The lake has elevation of 3410 meters (11,190 ft). The lake lies on the way towards Babusar and is a must visit place in Naran.

Siri paye

One of the most beautiful places to visit in Naran is Siri Paye meadows. It is located near Shogran. Thick pine forest jeep track takes you to the astounding Siri paye, at an elevation of 3048 meters (10,000 ft). The Dark Pine forest mesmerizes the jeep track. It is a lush green meadow with some beautiful peaks around.
